Search interest for December was higher than last year and higher than forecasted but lower than 2023. We seem to be getting more months in the last half of 2025 that are higher than the trends in the last few years would suggest. My model methodology will automatically account for this going forward, accounting for the average trend in the last twelve months. In fact, my forecast for January/February is incrementally higher than last month.

Current weather forecasts suggest a cold year perhaps warming to average about mid-February. This will encourage snow sports, but likely be colder than necessary.

I continue to be satisfied with the performance of these models, but will make small tweaks next year.
